The show in RVA was rad on Tues. Thanx to all for coming out and making it so. Here's a qwik video a fan sent in that they took with their iphone. The audio is overpowering the little mic, so sorry about that...
Ki:Theory is returning to Gallery 5 in our home town of Richmond, VA this coming up Tues.! This is an all ages show! The line-up includes 8-BitPeoplesblip-pop scenesters Anamanaguchi and Starscream from NYC. I cannot wait... Nintendo's and Gameboy's will meld into one harmonious stream of raw power!
I made some new 8-bit videos for each track off of the "Arms For Legs" EP for audio enjoyment. So now you can listen to the songs on YouTube! I used a program called Processing to modify peoples mods of the code for Atari's Breakout game. They're all a little different... Check'em out.
Ki:Theory (a.k.a. Joel Burleson) lives in Richmond, VA by choice. He makes glitchy cut-n-paste songs and sings along to them. He did not go to school for this. He and his band (Ash Bruce) have toured nationwide US, Japan and Korea. He’s done remixes for Ladytron, UNKLE, Sasha, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Brazilian Girls.
He continues to make music that he likes to hear in hopes of creating something that others might like to hear.
