lyrics - ARMS FOR LEGS

Arms For legs:

Dressed up, no place to go
We have arms for legs
Turn off your radio
If you can't stand to beg

Don't wish the stars that fall on this night
Don't let the scars be shown, unless they're on you're good side
You don't want the scars to show in this light
I bet the farm before, but this one just don't feel right

So come on let's learn to dance, on a setting sun
And walk through the spider webs
We'll do it just for...
We'll do it for fun...

Dressed up, but clothes are torn
We have arms for legs
Good intentions are such a bore
Light the powder kegs

Don't wish upon a star on this night
Don't let the scars be shown unless they're on the inside
You don't want the scars to show in this light
I bet the farm before, but this one just don't feel right

So come on let's learn to dance, on a setting sun
To "Great Pomp And Circumstance"
We'll do it just for...
We'll do it for fun...

In the van. I feel tired. 8 hours to go home. Highlights - Bon Iver, Santigold, The Mars Volta, NIN and of course our show. I feel like we accomplished what we set out to do. It was cool to be a part of something so huge. So many good bands but mostly good peeps. I'm excited for what's to come...

NEW WEBSITE!

We have a new website! Cool, huh? Well... the coolest thing is that it's actually more of a content aggregator, cuz it aggregates our content straight to your ears. When you go to the site you can download the new EP "Arms For Legs v 5.28" for.. FREE!!... RIGHT NOW!! Basically i wanted a site that was super simple and just a place for peeps to go to get our coolest new music. So, I'm going to keep adding new tracks and remixes as they get completed and then the version number will change to a new date, get it? So you can always have access to our most current stuff. Let me know what you think bout the idea and how you like the new music - always on Twitter and FaceBook...

BLACK CAT...

Imagine... It's Saturday night in DC. You live there and it's a warm early summer evening, so much potential, so much to look forward to... A great night to hit the scene, the pavement... to participate to feel alive... This Saturday can be that night! Here's the plan - invite some peeps over around 6:30-7pm-ish. Fire up the coals and throw some fresh fish, poultry, burgers, steaks, veggie burgers, smart dogs - whatever fits your mood. Drink about 3 beers out of a premium six-pack (e.g. Dale's Pale Ale, Hitachino, Boddington's...etc.). Jam the new Passion Pit on your stereo and rock some wii Tennis until about 8:30. Slam a shot of Bulleit Bourbon whiskey, douse the flame and walk out the door around 8:45 and head towards BLACK CAT - it's you, a few close friends and the night. You arrive around 9:15 (the perfect time) and you are in for a REAL TREAT... Why?... because you are about to be overcome by the artistically originating emotive movements of three great bands...
